The effect of Waqf in Ilkhanate cities development; the case study: Tabriz, Soltanieh and Ojan Hassan Karimian, Behzad Mahdizadeh Abstract Undoubtedly, the Waqf tradition is one of the most important factors in forming, developing and stability of Islamic cities. Because of religious negligence of Ilkhanate kings and their special publicities in developing Awqaf (especially public Awqaf), many of devoted works have been provided in cities and sometimes they organized the city foundation. For example, considerable part of Tabriz, Soltanieh and Ojan (near the Tabriz) cities had been formed by endowed buildings to the extent that forming and developing of Ojan cities was related to providing an endowed collection, Abvab al-ber, which has been endowed in Ilkhanate era. In this period, these three cities were famous and had more effects on other cities, so the effect of Waqf on forming and developing of them is studied. For that, all of written and historical documents about these three cities in Ilkhanate era have been studied. The results show that although some of famous regions located in Tabriz and Soltanieh have been built by magnanimous benefactors, but politicize of Waqf in Ilkhanate era leaded to inattention of Timuris rulers to the mentioned endowed collections and demolition of them to the extent that organized efforts of Safavid benefactors in revive of endowed forms factors in these cities were useless effort. Social effects of Islamic Waqf in Iran (part II) Sayyed Ahmad Sajjadi Abstract There are many books and papers about the effects of Waqf, Islamic Waqf and Waqf in Iran but a few of them are devoted to the social effects of Waqf, So in this paper, these effects have been studied using Awqaf documents, books and papers and also by review of expenses and benefactors intentions, Awqaf documents in Awqaf and charity organization or Astan Quds Razavi and national libraries. In this research, social effects of Waqf have been studied with an emphasis on Islamic Waqf in Iran society. In this paper, part I deals with three social effects of Waqf: social security, social justice and solving the personal and social problems and complexities. Part II deals to other seven dimensions: making habitable of cities, philanthropy, providing relief payment, meeting the needs, religious ceremonies celebration and providing libraries. Safavid Maryam Beighom School (Alavi) in Khansar and its endowments Mahboobeh Khosravi Abstract Safavid Maryam Beighom School is the oldest school in Khansar which has been established by Martam Beighom, one of the Safavid princes. Its deed of endowment has been written in 1106 A.H and a copy of Faru e Kafi has been endowed in 1113 A.H. This school is prolific school in Islamic world and many of famous scholars began their studies in this school. The form of this school is octahedral with a rocky pool in center and mosque and chambers around it. In 1394 A.H, this school was renovated by Ayatollah Sayed Hossein Ali Najafi and one of the famous narrations (I’m the city of knowledge and Ali is its gate) is modeled above its entrance, so name of Alavi was chose for it. This school has considerable Moqufat but during the time, many of them have been destroyed except one. Key words: Safavid Maryam Beighom, Alavi School, Ayatollah Sayed Hossein Ali Najafi. School, teachers and deed of endowment of Bastam Shahrukhieh Ebrahim Zarei, Sayyed Hadi Miraghai Abstract Because of Mohammad holly shrine, son of Imam Ja?far Sadeq (PBUH) and Bayazid Bastamo tomb, a beautiful cultural- moral collection is provided at center of Bastam historical city. According to special culture and architecture in each era, the rulers of different historical dynasties have provided beautiful works. This collection includes Bayazid mosque, west porch, Ghazan Khan Dome, Seljuk minaret. Shahrokhieh School is one of the beautiful historical buildings which has been built by Timurid Shahrukh. So far, there has not been sufficient research to study this school and employed teachers, so the aim of this research is to answer to some questions and prove some hypothesis about its benefactor, the date of founding, the kind and architects of this building. Also it has been tried to study the importance of this school in Bastam in historical and analytical point of view. Key words: Bastam, Timurid Shahrukh, deed of endowment, Shahrukhieh School. Sahib ibn abbad, a famous benefactor in the field of Islamic culture and civilization Mohammad Hassan Riahi Abstract The main aim of this literature is to study of Sahib ibn abbad programs in development of Aleboyeh government and its valuable effect on generalization and development of Shi?ism in the 4 A.H. in Iran. He has consider Waqf and its expanding. Indeed in Aleboyeh era, in the large cities with Shi?ite residents, some opportunities were provided to fulfilment of moral desires of Aleboyeh secretaries which it has been effective in development of Islamic culture and civilization in mentioned era. Haj Mir Hidayatullah Malek al- tojar Zanjani deed of endowment Parastoo Ghasemi Andarood Abstract In addition to religious and moral instructions, tendency to immortality is one of the most important factors for Waqf because bestow of properties leads to people reputation in the both worlds. Waqf is outstanding example of beneficence, cooperation and enduring good deed and is source of scientific, cultural, social and economic services. The aim of this research is introducing one of the benefactors in Zanjan in Qajar era, Mir Hidayatullah al-Hossaini, entitled Malek al- tojar and his deed of endowment. In addition to Waqf, he has been participated in renovation and modernization of Hosseinieh bath in Zanjan in 1292 A.H. and establishing Malek house in Zanjan Bazar. Review of Imamzadeh Yahya (PBUH) in Hamadan Zahra Poorsha?banian Abstract Imamzadeh Yahya (PBUH) is one of the valuable monuments of Islamic period located in Hamadan which is unique in architecture and ornamental point of view. Many of researchers have been studied this shrine. In this paper, architecture and decorations of shrine building (bricking, modeling, tiling) have been studied and suitable information is provided. So, the value of this shrine is the base of religious identity of Hamadan. Key words: Safavid era, Hamadan, Imamzadeh Yahya (PBUH). Papers collection on “holy shrines; manifestation of sacred art” Sayyed Amir Hossein Kamrani Rad Abstract With due attention to the role of shrines in the field of Islamic culture and civilization and regarding to the shrines as the cultural centers to train devoted Muslims and also to fight against programmed attacks of opponents of Islam, specially Wahhabi sect to presence of holy shrines (Emamzadeh), the deputy of Cultural and Social Affairs and Charitable Endowment programmed international conference in 2013 (9-10 September) about shrines (Emamzadegan) to collaborate with the Isfahan university, pious foundation in Isfahan, Seminaries, home and foreign universities and interested researchers in Isfahan. 600 papers was sent to congress secretariat and the best papers were published in four books. In this section, a set of papers have been provided in the name of “Shrines, manifestation of sacred art” in which interior and exterior decoration of holy shrines have been studied.
